NyayKey respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and how you can contact us about your data.

NyayKey is an India-focused AI legal information app and website. NyayKey helps users understand legal questions, risky messages, scams, complaints, FIRs, consumer issues, cyber fraud, property problems, notices, and everyday legal situations in simple language.

NyayKey provides general legal information only. It is not a lawyer, law firm, advocate, court, police authority, government authority, or emergency service.

Section 1: Information We Collect

We may collect the following types of information depending on how you use NyayKey:

  • Firebase Authentication user ID
  • Account status and basic profile details

Authentication Information:

  • Sign-in method

  • Facts and details you provide about your legal issue
  • Text from documents or notices you paste
  • Messages, scam text, threat text, or suspicious content submitted to Nyay Shield

App Usage Information:

  • Rewarded ad usage
  • Timestamps of app activity
  • App actions needed to manage limits, plans, abuse prevention, and rewards

Payment Information:

  • Currency
  • Razorpay order ID
  • Razorpay payment ID

  • Payment verification status
  • Refund/support-related transaction metadata

NyayKey does not store full card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, net banking passwords, or sensitive payment credentials.

Ads and Rewards Information:

  • Rewarded ad completion status
  • Reward eligibility
  • Basic ad interaction events
  • Ad reward verification information

Device and Technical Information:

  • Device type
  • Operating system
  • App version
  • Browser or WebView information
  • Error logs
  • Crash logs
  • Diagnostics
  • Performance information
  • Security and abuse-prevention information

Support Information:

  • Email address used for support
  • Issue details
  • Screenshots or information you choose to share
  • Support conversation history

Microphone Permission:

NyayKey may request microphone access if you choose to use voice input features in supported versions of the app. Microphone access is used only to convert your speech into text for your legal question or app input. NyayKey does not use the microphone in the background. NyayKey does not record or store raw audio unless a future feature clearly explains this and asks for your permission. You can deny or revoke microphone permission anytime from your device settings.

Text-to-Speech / Read Aloud:

NyayKey may offer a Read Aloud feature that uses your device’s text-to-speech system to speak AI responses. This does not require NyayKey to store your audio.

Section 2: How We Use Information

We use information to:

  • Provide AI-powered legal information
  • Generate structured responses to your questions
  • Help scan risky messages through Nyay Shield
  • Process OneCheck inputs
  • Maintain chat limits and plan usage
  • Activate paid plans
  • Verify payments
  • Verify rewarded ad completion
  • Prevent abuse, spam, fraud, and misuse
  • Improve app reliability and performance
  • Fix bugs and diagnose technical issues
  • Provide customer support
  • Maintain app security
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, payment, and platform requirements

Section 3: AI Processing

When you submit legal questions, document text, scam messages, or other content, that content may be processed by AI services to generate responses. You should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal information unless it is needed for your question.

AI responses may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. You should verify important information with official sources or a qualified legal professional.

Section 4: Payments

Payments may be processed through Razorpay or other payment providers. NyayKey may store transaction metadata to activate plans, verify payments, provide support, prevent fraud, and comply with legal or accounting requirements.

NyayKey does not store full card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, or sensitive payment credentials.

Section 5: Ads and Rewards

NyayKey may use Google AdMob or similar services for rewarded ads. These services may process advertising identifiers, device data, and ad interaction data according to their own policies. Rewards are provided only after successful ad completion and verification.

Section 6: Third-Party Services

NyayKey may use third-party services to operate the app and website, including:

  • Firebase Authentication
  • Firebase/Firestore
  • Google Gemini or other AI service providers
  • Razorpay
  • Google AdMob
  • Render or hosting providers
  • Analytics, diagnostics, or crash reporting tools if used

These providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and service terms.

Section 7: Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share information only when needed to:

  • Operate the app
  • Provide AI responses
  • Process payments
  • Verify rewarded ads

  • Prevent fraud or abuse

Some information may be retained even after deletion requests where required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, payment, or compliance reasons.
